Reminder to our patients – we are so excited to be serving you once again. We want to make sure your appointments run smoothly and safely: please review the following protocols.

  • Our office will complete a health survey with you on the phone prior to your appointment. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you are in the office.
  • Please remain in your vehicle and call to let us know you have arrived for your scheduled appointment. We will alert you when we are prepared for your entrance. Only one patient is allowed to enter the office per scheduled appointment. One parent may be allowed to accompany a minor.
  • Please wear a mask upon entrance.
  • You may expect to have your temperature taken upon arrival.
  • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office.
  • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth to comply with sanitization requirements. Our complimentary pre-pasted toothbrushes will no longer be available, so please brush prior to your arrival.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. Consequently, you may have fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • A fee for the additional COVID protocols/supplies will be applied to all appointments per the American Dental Association.
  • Our team will be wearing additional personal protection equipment. As a result, our office will have a lower temperature – please dress accordingly.

To our patients,

We value the trust you put in us and want to update you with the changing policies. The State of Ohio has asked that dental offices reschedule ALL elective (non-emergency) appointments for three weeks. Kennedy Dental will be complying with this request for our patient safety and to set an example of good community consciousness. We are currently contacting patients scheduled from March 16th to April 3rd to adjust appointments. Please call if your appointment falls into this time-frame to see if you need to reschedule.

Dr. Kennedy will be available during this time for emergency appointments. Please do not hesitate to call if you are experiencing tooth pain/issues. You may reach the Marysville office at 937-642-3434 or Huntsville office at 937-843-3932.

Kennedy Dental always practices Universal Precautions. Universal Precautions is an approach to infection control to treat all human blood and certain human body fluids as if they were known to be infectious. At this time, we are asking for the help of our patients to continue our safe space. If you are healthy, there is no need to cancel your appointment. If you answer yes to any of these 3 questions, we would like to reschedule your appointment.

  • Are you currently experiencing flu-like symptoms, such as fever, cough, sore throat, muscle or body aches, excessive fatigue, vomiting or diarrhea?
  • Have you tested positive for or have you come into contact with someone who has tested positive for the Coronavirus?
  • Have you traveled out of the country in the last two weeks?

If so, we simply ask that you not visit the office, but give us a call to reschedule your appointment for either two weeks after traveling or after your symptoms have subsided.
